Reporting to the Major Projects Wayleaves Manager the successful candidate will assist in the acquisition
of Wayleaves and Sites by consent and/or Compulsory Acquisition Procedures together with various
assignments in connection with wayleaves related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration/processing of Wayleave and Site acquisition applications including
responding to queries raised by landowners/tenants and/or their professional advisors.
Prepare and issue Wayleave packages for Major Projects.
Liaise with Engineers / project delivery staff / legal advisors on queries raised by Landowners.
Document and maintain Wayleaves policies, processes & procedures.
Process information requests made by Solicitors, Valuers, Agronomists etc.
Assist in the preparation of evidence and documentation for Oral Hearings, Court Injunctions and
general legal proceedings.
Liaise directly with land owners and their professional advisors.
Liaise with Government Departments, Commission for Energy Regulation, Statutory Bodies, Local
Authorities, An Bord Pleanala etc.
Liaise with Legal Advisors/Valuers/Engineers/Agronomist and other Professional advisors.
Assist in the maintenance and updating of the Wayleave Database, Electronic Document
Management System and Filing System for Major Projects wayleaves.
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Third level qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
2-3 year relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience in preparing reports, maintaining databases, raising and delivering Purchase Requisitions
on the Oracle system, processing invoices and filing.
Strong Computer skills with a proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and
Proactive, with ability to work on own initiative and with others to ensure success in the
performance of a team.
