The Territory Sales Representative will identify and sell to new Engineering customers in the transportation and urban planning industries. The Territory Sales Representative has a proven track record of successfully achieving and surpassing quota goals, and has demonstrated success at identifying new, high-value opportunities. Must be fluent in English and French. Previous experience selling to engineering, construction, transportation, and/or government agencies is desired.

  • Develop comprehensive business plans and drive the execution of selling strategies in order to grow revenue while forming strong relationships with customers.
  • Design and execute account plans to surpass goals and revenue targets.
  • Manage and develop key partnerships to expand business in both current and new geographies.
  • Drive sales to new customers and expand existing relationships through annual and multi-year contracts and value-added solutions in your assigned territory.
  • Foster strong partnerships with new prospects and partners.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and new developments, and utilize this information for business development and improvement.
  • Manage revenue goals in your assigned territory and accounts.
  • Conduct ongoing meetings and events with key customer decision-makers with the goal of uncovering and closing new opportunities.
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows to identify new prospective customers, and promptly follow up on leads from various sources.
  • Consistently maintain sales opportunity and customer status information in StreetLight Data’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts in your specified territory.
  • Process customer transactions such as orders, quotas, and sales contracts accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Interface with other functional groups, project teams and internal stakeholders to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers toward the goal of jointly achieving assigned quotas.
  • Provide regular updates to management, operations and support staff concerning account issues and financial status.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of business, marketing or engineering.
  • 10 + years of experience in complex sales to global customers in a recognized technology industry, transportation, urban planning, or architectural-related field.
  • Proven over-achievement with responsibility for a multimillion dollar quota.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial “start-up” environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be fluent in English and French.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior executive management and large audiences.
  • Strong financial skills and experience in creating new business opportunities.

StreetLight Data is seeking a strong data engineer to be part of our growing Engineering team. This team member will work on automating and scaling our data processing pipeline, and develop and productize new analytics algorithms into the StreetLight InSight platform. This position reports to the VP of Engineering.

  • Design and implement components within the StreetLight InSight data processing pipeline (from raw input files to optimized tables used for analyses).
  • Tune the StreetLight InSight processing pipeline for performance and scalability, and automate it to allow for for hands-off operations.
  • Develop new analytics algorithms, using a deep understanding of the raw data.
  • Implement customized analytics for clients in collaboration with Sales.
  • Work with Product Management and Application teams to productize data analytics algorithms into the StreetLight InSight web application.
  • Contribute to science projects as appropriate.
  • BS / MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline from a top university.
  • 5+ years experience as a software or data engineer at an enterprise software/analytics company.
  • 5+ years experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and SQL, including strong understanding of concepts.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, and 3+ years experience in Java and/or Python.

This team member will work with the Director of Operations and IT to maintain and expand our hosted cloud operations, as well as support our growing Development, QA and Support teams. This position reports to the Director of Operations and IT.


  • Ensure smooth operations for our hosted cloud servers and applications.
  • Improve and expand our current tools and processes for security, back-ups, monitoring and resource management.
  • Research, design and implement new solutions as needed.
  • Expand cloud operations for our planned European expansion.
  • Participate in 24×7 on-call rotation, and execute after-hours product deployments and maintenance.
  • Interface with vendors and contractors for outsourced functions.

StreetLight is looking to hire a talented and experienced Contracts Manager with experience in public sector contracting & procurement, negotiations, and commercial software licensing contract transactions. This is a high-visibility role with ample opportunities for professional growth as our company rapidly scales.

As Contracts Manager, you will be utilizing your thorough knowledge of government and commercial contracting and procurement processes and regulations. You will be instrumental in reviewing and preparing proposal documents, contract preparation and licensing negotiations, contract administration in accordance with laws, contract provisions, and company policies and procedures, and the ongoing tracking and follow up for executed public and private sector agreements requiring amendments, SOW’s, and compliance documentation.

  • Conduct thorough review and issue-spotting for public sector procurement submissions, provide guidance and collaborate with sales, marketing, product, engineering, and finance to ensure proper support in government proposal preparations.
  • Prepare standard and nonstandard legal forms related to proposal submissions.
  • Manage contractual communications with government contracting and procurement representatives.
  • Analyze requirements and provisions in commercial and government contracts, including identifying terms and conditions that represent potential compliance, liability or other risks to the Company.
  • Liaise with functional groups, project teams and internal stakeholders including finance, sales, and others for approval of non-standard contractual terms and conditions related to specific areas of expertise.
  • Review, redline and assist with negotiating commercial and government contracts including Software as a Service, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, supplier agreements, evaluation agreements, master services agreements, amendments and other types of agreements to ensure consistency with the company’s best practices, protocols, and risk matrix.
  • Review and respond to correspondence from customers and internal stakeholders concerning contract and licensing questions (ranging from simple to complex inquiries).
  • Maintain, review, and update standard contract templates, and develop new templates as needed and make them accessible to the stakeholders.
  • Play a lead role in the contract management process (track, log, follow up) and in designing and implementing related best practices, innovations, and process improvements including automation throughout the contract lifecycle.
