Technology Developer Senior Associate – Recruitmentplus – Dublin

My client is an experienced debt management team focusing on delivering first class, bespoke solutions across a broad menu of services to participants in the credit, structured and asset finance markets. By leveraging technology, my clients helps owners, investors and traders of debt to manage their portfolios across these markets of expertise to a diverse array of institutional clients.

As part of your remit you will be working with cross functional teams across the organisation where you will be responsible for building and enhancing current systems. You will be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines as well as bring new ideas to the table. The work will be a combination of improving production applications, application integration and building green-field functionality. The applications will be hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Role : Senior Associate IT Developer Technology

Responsible for developing and supporting a System to manage servicing of fixed income lending products and derivatives


  • Part of team developing a system to manage servicing of lending products
  • Support clients who use the system
  • Help development of other technology solutions as required by the organisation

Core Responsibilities :

  • Requirements gathering
  • Development / implementation of requirements
  • Provided day-to-day support to clients who use the systems
  • Write technical and functional documents for the systems
  • Ensure compliance with organisations policies, procedures and guidelines in the development and support processes

Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong C++ programming skills
  • Experience with .Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Cloud based development is beneficial
  • Good communication skills as role will require interacting with clients
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Essential Approved Persons examinations (I.e FSA, CFA)
  • Professional Examinations required ( i.e. ACCA)
  • Primary university or college degree with post graduate discipline in IT computer studies or Primary degree in IT/ computer studies
  • Excellent English
  • A willingness to travel to the UK or possibly (First month of appointment will be based in the UK)
