A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef on Hamilton Island. Pool Terrace within the Reef View Hotel is one of our busiest restaurants. If you are looking to work in a hotel-structured kitchen, Pool Terrace is for you!

About The Role

Live on island position

Full time permanent position; shifts on a rotating roster

Buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch and dinner and in room dining

International and Modern Australian cuisine

High Volume, fast paced, constant service

Manage a team of 20 chef’s

Work to achieve consistent high standards of food quality and production
About You

Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery

Open manual Australian driver licence desirable

Consistent employment in 4* or 5* hotel, cruise ship or convention centre

Minimum 3-4 years exp in Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef position

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

Reliable and flexible attitude

Not afraid of long hours and hard work required to achieve standards of excellence
