The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policy.

This position will serve Rheem Corporate, located in Atlanta, GA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Process payroll for hourly or salaried staff as assigned
  • Assist in the calculations and reconciliations of payroll deductions including benefits and 401k and taxes
  • Process and review employee payroll transactions including new hires, status changes and terminations
  • Produce and deliver exception and absence reports
  • Monitor vacation and personal leave balances
  • Audit time and attendance system for integrity


Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in payroll administration and payroll tax filings
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Oracle Fusion or other payroll processing systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization

HOW TO STAND OUT

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Kronos Time and attendance system experience a plus
