We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to have significant input and ownership of the Flagstaff Group’s maintenance and capital projects execution.
Reporting directly to the Group Manager for Operations & Information Technology, you will be responsible for providing support, reviewing, recommending and implementing preventative maintenance programs and assisting with the roll out of new plant and equipment. You will also provide hands-on operational support to the group’s business divisions in any of its geographical locations across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
Some of the key performance requirements for the role are:
Set up, operate and/or supervise the operation of equipment within the levels of your responsibilities, qualifications, skills and abilities;
Immediately report any changes in materials or deviations from project plans or expectations that will potentially affect project schedules or the customer expectation of defined outcomes;
Maintain production and or maintenance records ensuring a high level of record keeping and accuracy;
Supervise projects and activities within the levels of your qualifications, skills, abilities and/or training;
Coordinate daily administration activities including quality control, invoicing & deliveries advice;
Ensure a high level of accuracy in all paper work, record keeping and/or data entry associated with any task that you are undertaking at the time or for any area that you have responsibility for;
Some of the selection criteria include:
Trade based qualification and or currently undertaking diploma or degree studies or 3 years operational experience.
Ability to work on projects meeting timelines and achieving outcomes;
Proven ability to provide supervision of other employee’s;
Working knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) demonstrated commitment to a non-compromise approach to WHS standards;
Understanding of basic financial Information and concepts and the demonstrated ability in controlling costs;
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and make decisions that will benefit the business;
Demonstrated experience in business systems and or enterprise resource systems (ERP)
In addition to the selection criteria above, the successful candidate will also need a current NSW MR Driver’s Licence and currently hold or be willing to obtain a Forklift ticket.
