Introducing ‘ethically-sourced’ tarantula burgers

DURHAM, N.C. (KRON) –  April is celebrated as “Exotic Meat Month” at one North Carolina restaurant, showcasing exotic meats nationwide and around the world. 

But this year, Bull City Burger and Brewery is kicking things up a notch with a hair-raising special!

Behold the “Tarantula Burger.” It’s a pasture-raised North Carolina beef burger, topped with oven-roasted tarantula, gruyere cheese, and spicy chili sauce. Add a side of Dirty Fries and it’s all yours for $30, according to WFMY.

These special burgers are available by lottery only via the “Tarantula Challenge.”
