PRINCE William may have accidentally let slip the sex of his third child.
The second in line to the throne reportedly said he wanted to name his unborn child after Aston Villa’s midfielder Jack Grealish scored the winner in the game against Cardiff City.
The Duke of Cambridge reportedly said: “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack,” before quickly adding, “or Jackie”.
The off the cuff comment has been seen by some royal observers that he has let slip the gender of his unborn baby which is due to arrive later this month.
However the Duke and Duchess are believed to have decided not to find out the gender of their unborn baby, a move they also had for their previous two kids.
Bookies though believe the couple are going to be having a girl.
William Hill’s most likely girls names are Mary (3/1) and Alice (6/1).
Elizabeth has gone from (6/1) to (12/1), while Victoria has gone from (6/1) to (8/1).
Betway previously said: “Alice is a popular early frontrunner to be the chosen name of Will and Kate’s third baby at 8/1.”
If the Duke and Duchess have another boy, William Hill estimate that Arthur (12/1), Albert has gone from (14/1) to (12/1), and James has shifted from (16/1) to (14/1).
Betway agree with two of these names, listing their picks as: Albert (10/1), James (10/1) and Arthur (11/1).
In light of Prince William’s recent slip-up that the baby could be boy, the odds have been slashed on potential male baby names.
