Schnucks announces romaine lettuce recall

Freshway Foods is recalling chopped romaine lettuce sold at Schnucks stores. The lettuce sold at Schnucks Delis and Salad Bars could be contaminated with E. Coli.

Schnucks customers are urged to check any product from self-service salad bar containing romaine lettuce. Salads that are effected include apple walnut salad, Greek salad, Cobb salad, and tossed garden salad.

Schnucks says customers must return any unused product to their nearest store for a full refund. Anyone with questions may contact the Schnucks Consumer Affairs Department at (314) 994-4400 or 1-800-264-4400.
