The rapper might sneak the wildly popular game into his next album.

Last month, Drake, completely on a whim and totally by surprise, broke a livestream record late one night when he played Fortnite with leading streamer Tyler Blevins, aka “Ninja.” Fortnite, as you might know from reading noted video game publication GQ.com, is the biggest thing in multiplayer right now, a free and straightforward game of friendly murder that anyone can jump in and play. And depending on how things go over the next few weeks, you might be hearing more about Fortnite…on Drake’s next track.

While it didn’t break any more records, the Toronto rapper reunited with Blevins on Twitch last night, mostly to just play Fortnite, because once you play Fortnite with someone an irrevocable bond is formed and you got hot for Fortnite the way Republicans are horny for tax cuts. During their stream, Drake mentioned that he’s working on a new album, and Blevins, because he’s a gamer, said that Drake should reference Fortnite on it. Drake, however, seemed into it.

How into it? He alluded to Murda Beatz working some Fortnite samples into a few works in progress, and that he’d probably do it himself if he can make it happen “in the right way”β€”and then said that he’d do it if Epic Games, the studio behind Fortnite, let players do his Hotline Bling dance in the game. (Which is totally possible and not even all that hard, considering the dances that you can already do in the game.)

After some careful consideration, I have concluded that this is A Good Idea. Drake’s been rapping about the difficulty of fame and relationships for some time now, and if you crunch the numbers, he’s probably running out of excuses for why he can’t commit to whomever he was talking to in “God’s Plan.” Fortnite is a good one. Tell the ladies you love Fortnite more, Drake.
