Wrestling sources have reportedly claimed Lesnar had a “brief, but heated” exchange with McMahon – which ended with him throwing the Universal Championship Belt.
It is alleged this incident was real, and not part of the professional wrestling storyline – but WWE is known for blurring reality and fiction.
Wrestling reporter Ryan Satin shared the claims on Pro Wrestling Sheet and said Lesnar was “livid” when got backstage after his match in New Orleans.

The Beast Incarnate sat atop Reigns and hit a series of elbow strikes, which left the Big Dog’s face and hair totally covered in blood and him looking dazed.
And at one point Brock even had to be censored, as he said the word “motherf***er” right into the camera after Reigns kicked out of another F5.
Lesnar is reported to have had backstage altercations with WWE staff before, and is even alleged to have “no-showed” an episode of Raw in 2015.
He was also involved in a heated row with WWE legend Chris Jericho following his match with Randy Orton at Summerslam in 2016.
Lesnar had laid into Orton with hard elbow strikes, leaving The Viper a bloody mess and the match having to be stopped by a referee.
Jericho was demanding answers as to whether The Beast Incarnate had gone-off script and taken liberties with Orton in the ring.
WWE fans were left scratching their heads following Wrestlemania, with Lesnar’s shock victory coming amid chants of “this is awful” from the crowd.
Reigns has been positioned as the WWE’s next megastar for the past four years – main eventing the three Wrestlemanias and defeating Undertaker and Triple H.
Sections of the fanbase have been reluctant to accept the Big Dog, loudly booing him despite the wrestler being position as the WWE’s top “good guy”.
