Noel wasn’t holding back as he questioned the support from The Saturday Night Takeaway Host’s inner circle.
This comes after it was confirmed that Ant’s co-host of 30 years, Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali Astall, 40, are expecting their first child together.
“They are probably the best live presenters we’ve ever seen in this country”

Speaking to The Sun, Noel said: “What Ant needs is rock-solid people around him.
“People he respects and that speak with love rather than flippant people who pander to his ego.”
Noel continued: “When you go to the darkest place, all reason and logic desserts you and you are very dependent on having good people around you.”
Like Ant, Noel also had his own turn at being the king of Saturday night television – he presented Noel’s House Party from 1991-1999 with lovable character Mr Blobby.
Noel was invited by the Geordie duo, both 42, to sit in the Saturday Night Takeaway audience a couple of weekends ago alongside his wife Liz and his stepson.
Noel revealed that he rang Ant after filming for the episode wrapped to thank him for the invite.
He also said that he felt “awful” when informed of Ant’s crash – The Britain’s Got Talent host allegedly smashed into the back of a car containing a family-of-three, including a young girl, three on March 18.
Metropolitan Police confirmed last week that he had been charged with drink driving and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on April 4.
Noel continued: “I will of course keep in touch with Ant.
“I hope we get back to enjoying a brilliant talent.
