What is a Media Coordinator?

A Coordinator stands at the beginning of an exciting journey. Naturally curious they bring hunger, energy and a mind overflowing with questions.

A coordinator loves to learn and has a resolute focus on absorbing every little morsel of knowledge possible. As they grow so will their contribution to the team, gradually taking on more responsibility, expanding their skills and setting themselves up for a long and successful career in media.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist team with sourcing rates, confirming media bookings, issuing material instructions and any other implementation tasks required

  • Deliver accurate specs prior to campaign launch, and timely and accurate MIs during campaign (as required)

  • Supply of all data to inform campaign post analysis and reporting across all channels

  • Ensure all digital campaigns are trafficked correctly, either directly or via Ad Ops

  • Pull trafficking reports from Sizmek at campaign start and monitor through weekly digital reports provided to IE/IM, alongside optimisation thoughts

  • Ensure that TV post is matched and coded weekly, and results updated accurately in spreadsheet

  • Effectively and efficiently deal with material issues

  • Assist with proforma process by ensuring all bookings match plans, media confirmations and MBA’s

  • Assist with the resolution of account queries and invoice checking

  • Update Internal WIPs

  • Assist with Campaign Post Analysis reports (once client data available) as well as monthly competitive analysis

  • Escalate any issues of concerns to the Investment Exec and Investment Manager in a timely fashion

What are we looking for?

Whilst you don’t need any industry experience, ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A natural curiosity and appetite for learning

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work well as a team

  • An effective and professional communicator

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical literacy
