Head of TPA Services – Italy
Lead the Third Party Administration(TPA) business for Allianz Worldwide Partners (Health& Life) in Italy

Main Tasks:
Lead the Development and Implementation of AWP strategy for International Health TPA line of business in Italy
Monitor, analyze and report on resource utilization and effectiveness, identifying bottlenecks, and solutions.
Drive continuous improvement of all operating service standards, including tangible customer excellence initiatives.
Drive development and ongoing improvement of lean organizational processes and effective structures to best fit client and market needs
Develop, implement and broadcast operational measurements, KPIs and SLAs to measure, steer and improve business locally and in line with global strategic initiatives.
Continually promote and enhance a strong organizational culture focused on Customer Centricity and Operational Excellence throughout TPA
Drive implementation of Operations change programmes to ensure global and local support in development and implementation.
Manage full Medical Case Management and Claims cycle – from Pre, during and post medical treatment, including adjudication, processing and payment function, communicating with clients, insured members, distributors and providers as required.
Devise and implement claims cost control strategies
Drive the transformation Digitalization programme for IH TPA in Italy
Work closely with our Medical Provider Management team to expand the panel of medical providers, developing financially advantageous contractual relationships with all providers.
Together with the Medical Provider Management team, develop and execute local / regional Provider relationship strategy in order to enhance provider related cost savings.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with providers and other external suppliers;
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with major clients, intermediaries and with the Company’s own internal functions such as, fraud unit, sales and marketing personnel.
Contribute to product development by proposing and developing treatment delivery arrangements to bring either cost containment and/or client service advantages to the Allianz product range.
Support business retention and growth by representing the Company to prospective and existing clients as well as intermediaries and others involved in the sales process, in order to present the company’s customer focused Operations Excellence.
Act as an internal and external consultant on all matters involving third party administration.
Provide regular, full and adequate internal and external communication to a broad spectrum of stakeholders on the Development and Implementation of AWP strategy for International Health TPA line of business in Italy

Experience Required:
10+ years of experience in Insurance, preferably in the domestic Italian Health Insurance Market.
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the local Third Party Administration (TPA) Market, together with Health Insurer and TPA competitor insights.
Proven track record of leading and delivering Complex, Strategic and Innovative programs along the end to end value chain
Proven track record of delivering tangible financial results and positive customer impacts
Highest level of education desired Bachelor’s degree (MBA considered a plus)
Fluency in English and Italian (another language is an added advantage)
Flexibility to fulfill occasional travel obligations, as required
