The Library is seeking a highly effective executive support officer with a strong customer focus to join its Divisional Support Unit in the Australian Collections & Reader Services Division.

The Executive Support Officer will provide a high level of administrative support to the Assistant Director General Australian Collections & Reader Services Division and to the Divisional Support Unit. The Unit is responsible for providing administrative support to the Division including coordination and collation of reports, processing of purchasing and travel, interpreting and applying corporate policies and guidelines and liaising with a range of staff both within and outside the Division. Key aspects of the role include diary management, arranging travel, managing correspondence, liaising widely across the Division and Library as well as proactively managing communications with key internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are required. An understanding of the APS Financial and procurement policies and procedures are essential.
