Global Digital Technology Group at FCO Services is all about protecting people and information for government customers in the UK and worldwide. To deliver this work, we need to be able to rely on the integrity of our equipment. You will make sure we can.
Manage changes and keep our technology secure
Working at the heart of our service operations team, you will help minimise disruption throughout our organisation by coordinating day-to-day change and configuration management services, and by ensuring only authorised hardware and software is used. This will involve handling change requests from colleagues across FCO Services and seeing these through all the way to sign-off, being sure to manage the expectations of customers and key stakeholders along the way. You will also contribute to the development of shared services, and will be responsible for training any new users on our service management tool.
You are experienced in service management and an expert in people
As long as you have an ITIL foundation qualification and experience of working in change, configuration or release management, then you could potentially come from any industry or environment, whether public or private sector. On top of your knowledge and expertise in ITIL service management, it is important that you have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as the role involves liaising with a wide range of people and discussing complex issues using various tools, styles and techniques. You will also need to be someone who pays close attention to detail and who is able to calmly prioritise and coordinate work, even within a fast-moving, complex outsourcer environment like ours.
And you’re looking to learn even more

We also offer a range of excellent benefits and the opportunity to work flexible hours.
